Multiple weekend dates in early autumn

This is the most beautiful time of the year in Maine. It often seems that we can be easily sucked into the void of digital life while missing out on the meaningful present. However, we can use digital tools to enhance our experience of the present. Enya uses directed energetic focus, awareness practices and the camera to help you experience this transitional time in nature fully. Instruction will consist of honing our perception of the world and discussing ways to see. We will work to translate experience of the present through visual framing and connecting to self and spirit. This retreat includes forest bathing and waterfall visits. I often teach this workshop two-days in a row and encourage anyone to join in multiple workshops as practice will deepen your ability. It is best to use a simple camera if this is your first time attending this workshop. We are not seeking to spend time adjusting camera settings, rather using the camera as it is to connect with the present and nature.

This retreat is booked through Airbnb. Lodging + camping at Tourmaline Center can be booked through Airbnb for these time frames also.
